We start with cutting high-quality book boards to size and cover them with handmade paper. Our cover boards are then weaved together using the crisscross binding technique. Next, we add high-quality paper to the interior of the boards, completing the covers of your journal. Finally, we handbind the interior templated pages that we have designed ourselves to give you the perfect journal to add to your collection. We do all of this in-house in Los Angeles to provide you with the most special book!

At A Little Bindery, we're dedicated to promoting sustainability and embracing the power of slow, intentional living. To achieve this, we've implemented a low-waste approach to our journal-making process, using a small-batch method that allows us to create each journal with the utmost care and attention to detail. While our journals may have minor blemishes on the covers and interior pages, we believe these imperfections add character and reflect the unique nature of each individual journal.
